What you'll do

• Assess pets’ coats, skin, temperament, and grooming needs
• plan services with client preferences in mind
• bathe, dry, detangle, trim, and style pets
• clip and file nails
• clean ears and check for irritation
• administer flea and tick treatments as needed
• check for skin concerns
• express anal glands when appropriate
• keep pets calm and safe
• communicate with owners
• assist with calls and scheduling
• maintain a clean grooming area and follow safety and sanitation protocols.
