IT Support Services Technician

Job overview

The IT Support Services Technician role is onsite in Columbus, OH; compensation is not specified. The technician joins the Haslam Sports Group IT team to build the technology foundation for the NWSL’s 18th team and support staff, coaches, and players ahead of and during its inaugural season. The technician deploys and supports devices, systems, and facility technology while serving as a first point of contact for users. The role helps establish reliable technology operations and align standards with the Columbus Crew and Cleveland Browns support teams.

What you'll do

• Deploy end-user hardware, printers, conference-room AV, and network equipment
• coordinate with vendors and contractors during facility buildout
• provide in-person, phone, and ticket-based support
• troubleshoot Windows and Mac computers, mobile devices, software, and peripherals
• manage onboarding and offboarding
• administer users and groups in Active Directory, Entra ID, and Okta
• configure devices in Intune, Iru, and Apple Business Manager
• maintain meeting-room technology
• troubleshoot connectivity and perform basic VLAN changes
• write PowerShell scripts
• support team events
• maintain knowledge-base materials and runbooks.

Why this role

Supports a new professional sports team and its inaugural season; some nights and weekends are required for team events. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience, and 1–3+ years of hands-on IT support or helpdesk experience.
