Direct Support Professional — Indian Trail

Job overview

The Direct Support Professional role is onsite in Indian Trail, NC, providing approximately 15 hours per week of community living and support services. Compensation is $20.35 per hour. InReach provides services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role supports an individual’s daily living, social development, and community participation through instruction, assistance, medication support, and transportation to programs and activities. Additional hours may be available during non-school weeks.

What you'll do

• Provide instruction and assistance in home living environments
• help the individual identify and acquire valued social roles
• facilitate community integration
• support healthy social habits
• dispense medication and monitor dosages
• transport and accompany the individual to day programs, work sites, and community activities.

Why this role

Monday–Friday, 5 p.m.–8 p.m.; high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, drug screen, and background check required. One to two years of I/DD experience preferred. Independent contractor position with contractor-paid training, accident insurance, and administrative fees.
