What you'll do

• Assists eye care providers in performing patient care and demonstrates proficiency in ophthalmic core competencies.
• Performs basic ophthalmic testing procedures, diagnostic testing, administration of medications, and other delegated tasks.
• Assists with minor procedures and prescription refill process under provider direction.
• Performs documentation, patient education, and charge entry, supports efficient patient flow.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

What we're looking for

Education

High School diploma or GED.

Experience

2 years sponsored on the job ophthalmic training, or ophthalmic internship.
