The Registered Dietitian (PRN) role is onsite in Grand Rapids, MI. Compensation is not specified. The position supports BrightSpring Health Services’ therapy team in delivering customized treatment plans intended to improve clients’ quality of life. The dietitian assesses patients’ nutritional needs and works with physicians and nursing personnel to establish and adjust dietary plans. The role also guides patients and families in following prescribed dietary modifications and contributes to clinical quality and documentation practices.

What you'll do

• Provide professional nutritional services in accordance with state practice standards, applicable regulations, company policies, and healthcare standards. Interview patients and assess nutritional status
• determine dietary needs and advise physicians and nursing personnel. Confer with physicians to establish dietary treatments and prepare therapeutic diets. Explain dietary modifications, restrictions, and relevant drug-nutrient interactions to patients and families. Monitor responses to dietary treatment, report changes, and revise plans as appropriate based on patient condition and physician orders. Maintain confidential records, participate in continuing education and quality improvement activities, and follow privacy and compliance programs. A nutrition degree or equivalent and current registered dietitian licensure or certification in the state of practice are required
• at least six months of related experience is generally required.
