Job overview

The Home Caregiver role is onsite in clients’ homes in the Manteca, CA area. Compensation is $19.50–$21 per hour. Assisting Hands Home Care provides non-medical care to seniors and people with disabilities to help them live safely and independently. The caregiver provides personalized assistance and companionship, supporting clients’ daily activities, comfort, and dignity. The role also communicates with families and the care management team and may accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community outings.

What you'll do

• Provide companionship and personalized home care
• assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting, and incontinence needs
• prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• provide medication reminders and light housekeeping
• accompany clients to appointments, errands, or outings
• communicate with families and the care management team.

Why this role

Requires a registered Home Care Aide or willingness to register before hire, recent negative TB test, CPR/BLS certification, caregiving experience, and a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
