What you'll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency patients
• perform emergency procedures and stabilization
• obtain histories and examinations, interpret EKGs, laboratory results, and preliminary radiographs, and develop treatment plans
• respond to Code Blue events and coordinate EMS or specialty support
• provide discharge instructions, referrals, and follow-up
• complete medical records and required reports
• coordinate with consultants, facilities, EMS, and hospital personnel
• attend required meetings and academic activities.
