Experienced Dementia Caregiver

The Experienced Dementia Caregiver role is an onsite position based in River Forest, IL, with pay of $16.50–$18 per hour. Amada Senior Care provides care services for seniors and their families, with a focus on nurturing, compassionate home care. The caregiver supports clients’ daily living, comfort, and well-being through personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, and other non-medical assistance. The role also includes observing and reporting changes in clients’ health and using behavior-management techniques when needed.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care
• provide companionship and emotional support
• help prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• perform light housekeeping
• escort clients to appointments and run errands
• monitor and report changes in health
• use behavior-management techniques when necessary.
