Security and IT Intern

The Security and IT Intern role is onsite in San Francisco, CA, for 20 hours per week during the school year, with at least four hours of overlap with U.S. business hours on three or more days. Eight Sleep’s mission is to support human potential through optimal sleep and sleep technology. The intern supports corporate security, compliance, and IT operations through access administration, device management, compliance remediation, and employee request triage. The role also automates recurring work and documents processes for the Security team and engineering organization.

What you'll do

• Administer Google Workspace, device management, and SaaS access lifecycle tasks
• conduct access reviews and device-compliance checks and automate recurring work
• help remediate Vanta tests and automate evidence collection
• triage employee security and IT requests one shift per week with mentor review
• write runbooks and triage notes
• use AI tools to scale work and develop automated production workflows.
