What you'll do

• Operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles on regional routes
• follow traffic laws and safety regulations
• conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• plan routes to optimize delivery times and reduce fuel use and vehicle wear
• maintain driving-hour, delivery, and maintenance logs
• communicate with dispatch about schedules, route changes, and road issues.
