Access Representative

Job overview

The Access Representative role is onsite in Avon, IN, with compensation of $18 per hour. The position supports people seeking services from Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, a community behavioral health and addiction provider recognized by Indiana’s Division of Mental Health and Addiction for customer satisfaction. The representative handles front-office functions that help consumers access intake, appointments, and services. Courteous visitor and phone support, accurate intake and check-in, scheduling, and document handling help connect consumers with clinicians and keep office processes moving.

What you'll do

• Greet visitors and follow sign-in procedures
• answer and transfer calls and follow up on voicemail
• explain intake steps, collect required information and insurance details, and notify Virtual Open Access when consumers are ready
• check in consumers, review system flags, collect service fees, and print receipts
• schedule and reschedule appointments and print appointment or excuse letters
• send, scan, and log documents in charts. Other responsibilities may be assigned by a supervisor.
