Transportation Driver — Resident Appointments

What you'll do

• Organize transportation based on resident needs
• transport residents to appointments, programs, facilities, and residences
• develop driving schedules and provide transportation after hospital discharge
• observe and report changes in residents’ condition
• transport medical records for signatures
• follow safety procedures
• maintain and clean the van, log mileage, and ensure routine maintenance
• assist clinical staff with safe lifting and transfers
• coordinate with outside facilities and care providers
• report scheduling changes
• provide hydration according to resident needs
• protect residents’ personal property.
