Food Service Aide

Job overview

The Food Service Aide role is onsite in Lebanon, OR, Monday through Friday, for 36 hours per week. Compensation is $18.01 per hour. Kids & Company of Linn County serves children and families through a mission-driven organization. The aide supports meal service by preparing, producing, delivering, and serving meals according to nutrition, health, and sanitation standards. The role also maintains kitchen cleanliness and food storage, transports meals to assigned centers, and assists with meal setup and cleanup.

What you'll do

• Assist with food preparation and meal setup
• deliver meals safely and on time to assigned centers
• implement special diets
• and provide feedback to the Food Service Manager about food quality, quantity, and acceptance. Wash dishes and maintain clean, sanitary kitchen facilities, equipment, utensils, and food storage. Load and unload prepared food from the food-service van, maintain the van and transportation documentation, and follow program transportation policies and sanitation procedures.
