Associate Director, CMC Project Management

Job overview

The Associate Director, CMC Project Management role is onsite in South San Francisco, CA. Compensation is $193,500–$236,500 per year, with eligibility for an annual performance bonus. The role is within Maze Therapeutics’ Technical Operations team and supports development programs intended to bring potential medicines to patients. The position coordinates cross-functional CMC planning and execution across the drug development lifecycle. By managing timelines, risks, decisions, and partner coordination, it helps teams meet program milestones and support regulatory success.

What you'll do

• Provide end-to-end CMC project management
• lead cross-functional teams across development, quality, regulatory, and clinical supply chain
• coordinate CMO discussions and action items
• manage program risks and interdependencies
• prepare leadership proposals and recommendations
• contribute to regulatory filing preparation
• maintain dashboards and status reporting
• improve project management processes and support budget tracking and forecasting.
