CNC Lathe Operator

The CNC Lathe Operator role is onsite in Fremont, CA, on the swing shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:05 p.m. Pay is $18–$26 per hour. South Bay Solutions is a high-precision machine shop producing parts for semiconductor, medical-device, and advanced-technology hardware. The operator runs CNC lathe equipment to produce metal and plastic parts to specification. Monitoring tools, inspecting output, documenting results, and maintaining safe equipment and work areas support production quality and schedule requirements.

What you'll do

• Load and unload CNC machines
• inspect parts and adjust tool offsets to meet print requirements
• document inspection results
• work toward cycle-time targets and run multiple machines when possible
• log job quantities accurately
• support basic machine maintenance
• report issues to supervisors
• communicate shift handoffs
• and maintain a clean, safe work area.
