The Robotics Pilot – AI Data Collection role is onsite in San Francisco, CA. Compensation is $28 per hour. The role supports AI model training and robotics research through hands-on data collection and robotic hardware operations in a robotics lab. The pilot operates robotic arms and collects and labels video, sensor, and 3D-scan data while monitoring data quality and maintaining equipment. This work supports AI training, robotics testing, and engineering teams’ development workflows.

What you'll do

• Operate robotic arms to sort, assemble, move, and manipulate everyday objects
• collect, organize, and label video, sensor readings, and 3D scans
• support AI model training, robotics testing, and data collection workflows
• monitor data quality and report inconsistencies or sensor issues
• follow standard procedures
• maintain robotics hardware and lab equipment
• follow laboratory safety procedures.
