What you'll do

• Prepare or direct preparation of food using established production procedures
• determine food and supply needs and ensure availability
• serve or ensure proper serving of food
• follow sanitation, hygiene, and food-handling standards
• date and store food safely
• report equipment repair needs
• prepare recipes and special diet orders and portion servings
• coordinate production with meal service times
• maintain production records
• clean work areas and equipment
• complete food temperature checks before service
• perform other assigned work-related duties.
