The Clinical Pharmacist Nights (ED/ICU) is an onsite role based in Gaithersburg, MD. The pay range is $102,606 - $196,996/yr, and this position supports the pharmacy department at MedStar Health. This role exists to provide safe, accurate, and timely medication review, verification, and dispensing for emergency and critical care areas during overnight operations. The pharmacist will be based in the ED with a 7 on/7 off schedule.

What you'll do

  • Review, verify, prepare, and dispense medications for adult and pediatric emergency and critical care areas.
  • Advise clinical staff on medication administration.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
  • Manage medication orders, monitor for adverse drug events, and participate in quality improvement teams.
  • Maintain patient-specific information for safe medication management.
