What you'll do

• Analyze drawings, specifications, material selections, and scopes of work
• perform quantity take-offs and apply unit prices
• solicit and compare subcontractor and vendor bids
• calculate proposed bid prices
• communicate with customers about requests for information and clarifications
• attend handoff meetings after bid acceptance
• prepare budgets and reports
• review plans for consistency and accuracy
• collaborate with the preconstruction team.
