In-Home Caregiver – 12-Hour Day Shift

The In-Home Caregiver role is onsite in clients’ homes in Spearfish, SD, on a 12-hour day shift. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour, paid semi-monthly. Village Caregiving provides in-home care intended to support clients’ dignity, quality of life, and independence. The caregiver assists clients with daily living, companionship, meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. The role also documents care and communicates changes in client condition to family members and the healthcare team.

What you'll do

• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
• provide companionship and emotional support
• perform light housekeeping
• prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• provide medication reminders and monitor health according to care plans
• communicate with clients, families, and the healthcare team
• document care and report changes in condition.
