What you'll do

• Investigate patient safety incidents and develop corrective actions
• develop, implement, and maintain infection-control policies and procedures
• educate and train staff on infection prevention and patient safety
• monitor infection rates and implement risk-reduction strategies
• collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on infection-control risks
• participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety committees
• maintain infection-control and patient-safety records and reports.
