Moving Specialist

The Moving Specialist role is onsite in Sterling, Virginia. Compensation is $19 per hour. Interstate Moving Relocation Logistics handles household goods, office furniture, and other goods through its moving and relocation operations. The mover/helper supports safe and careful loading, transport preparation, and unloading. The role helps crews protect and account for customers’ belongings while assisting with vehicle readiness and warehouse operations as directed.

What you'll do

• Assist with truck inspections for damage and roadworthiness
• help prepare vehicles and check materials and fluid levels
• safely lift, pack, load, and unload goods
• prepare accurate inventories when required
• assist the crew leader on assigned jobs
• help with warehouse operations as needed.
