Desktop Technician

The Desktop Technician role is onsite in Greenwood, SC, with compensation of $22.50–$30.00 per hour. Compucom Staffing provides IT staffing services and support to its client organizations. This technician serves as the local technical resource for end users and site technology, resolving desktop and device issues while supporting deployments, infrastructure activities, and service delivery. The work helps maintain reliable technology operations at the site.

What you'll do

• Provide onsite deskside support for hardware, software, connectivity, Windows, Microsoft 365, and mobile-device issues
• assist with account access and device setup, including VIP support as required. Image, configure, deploy, repair, refresh, and track devices
• support patching and security requirements. Troubleshoot printers, scanners, manufacturing endpoints, lab systems as directed, conference-room technology, and site infrastructure. Assist network teams with smart-hands tasks, equipment, cabling, and site projects. Manage incidents and requests in ServiceNow or an approved ticketing system, document work, meet service levels, and communicate with users and support teams.
