Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) — Evening Shift

Job overview

Compensation is $18–$25 per year. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works onsite at Masonicare Bishop Wicke in Shelton, CT, on the evening shift, 40 hours per week, every other weekend. Under a licensed nurse’s supervision, the CNA provides basic, person-centered care to residents and patients. The role supports the care team by assisting with daily needs, observing and reporting changes, recording vital signs, and documenting care accurately.

What you'll do

• Provide basic nursing care under a licensed nurse’s direction
• assist with meals, transfers, ambulation, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming
• observe and communicate relevant condition information
• take and record pulse, respirations, blood pressure, and weight as needed
• document care and observations in worksheets and the electronic medical record
• follow infection-control practices and facility procedures
• support residents’ psychosocial needs and coworkers.

Why this role
