CDL A Shuttle Driver

The CDL A Shuttle Driver role is an onsite position located in Columbia, MO. The pay is $1,250 per week, and this role supports the transportation operations at Performance Foodservice. This role exists to transport trailers between warehouse and shuttle yard locations. The CDL A Shuttle Driver contributes to the team by ensuring the safe and timely movement of freight in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.

What you'll do

• Performs all required safety checks (i.e., pre/post trip)
• Reports all safety issues and/or repairs required
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
• Ensures all required route paperwork is with tractor trailer load
• Drives and delivers trailers according to predetermined route schedule
• Performs hook/unhook procedures per safety guidelines
• Parks and stores tractor trailers in designated areas
• Ensures all equipment and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured
• Collects and secures damaged goods and customer returns
• Unloads all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers
• Completes daily record of hours of service
• Performs general housekeeping duties.
