The Production Operator — 2-2-3 Night Shift role is onsite in Lafayette, IN, with stated pay of $25–$30 per hour plus a $0.75 premium. Rea Magnet Wire produces magnet wire used to power products and systems. The operator sets up and runs taping machinery to insulate wire to order specifications, performs quality checks, and completes production changeovers and documentation. The role supports safe, timely production and consistent product quality across shifts.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate taping machines to insulate aluminum and copper wire to order specifications
• perform equipment and process checks
• complete changeovers, conversions, and start-ups
• conduct quality tests and address quality issues
• communicate maintenance needs
• maintain housekeeping and safety practices
• move finished goods and raw materials
• train operators as assigned.
