The Paramedic role is onsite in Saco, ME, with stated pay of $30 per hour. Northeast Mobile Health Services is Maine’s largest EMS service and responds to more than 18,000 calls annually. The paramedic provides emergency and non-emergency pre-hospital or inter-facility care, assesses and treats patients within license level and protocols, and transports them safely to appropriate destinations while maintaining vehicles, supplies, and required records.

What you'll do

• Respond to dispatched locations in emergency vehicles
• communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and hospital personnel
• assist with patient treatment within license level
• assess and treat medical and trauma conditions under Maine EMS and company protocols
• complete run reports and billing forms
• operate ambulances and wheelchair vans safely
• check vehicles and supplies
• replenish supplies and clean vehicles
• perform station duties
• comply with quality, Medicare/MaineCare, and HIPAA requirements
• provide extended transportation as required.
