Cross Country Coach

Job overview

The Cross Country Coach role is onsite in San Bernardino, CA, with outdoor instruction at school locations. Compensation is $40–$60 per hour. Impact Kids provides enrichment programs for students in public and private schools. The coach teaches running skills and supervises students in a safe, inclusive environment. The role contributes to students’ endurance, confidence, fitness, and enjoyment of running through age-appropriate instruction, workouts, feedback, and careful group supervision.

What you'll do

• Provide daily cross-country and running instruction to students ages 4–14
• teach running form, warm-ups, stretching, pacing, and breathing
• lead age-appropriate workouts, games, relays, and time trials
• assess performance and track progress
• plan and supervise safe routes
• monitor weather, heat, and hydration
• supervise student behavior, health, and safety
• prepare daily plans
• collaborate with Activity Specialists
• follow company policies and code of conduct.

Why this role
