Level II Radiographic Testing (RT/CR) Technician

The Level II Radiographic Testing (RT/CR) Technician role is onsite in Monroe, NC. Compensation is stated as $30 and up, based on additional certifications and experience. Mistras Group supports long-term industrial inspection projects. The technician performs radiographic inspections and evaluates results to help ensure inspection work meets company procedures, customer specifications, applicable codes, and radiation-safety requirements. The role also supports equipment readiness, accurate reporting, customer coordination, and mentoring of trainees and Level I technicians as needed.

What you'll do

• Perform Level II RT inspections according to company procedures, customer specifications, and applicable industry codes
• set up, calibrate, and safely operate radiographic equipment
• interpret images and evaluate results
• prepare inspection reports and documentation
• comply with radiation-safety requirements
• check, maintain, and calibrate equipment
• coordinate with customers, project managers, and technicians
• assist with other NDT methods when qualified
• mentor trainees and Level I technicians as needed.
