Caregiver — Home Care

Job overview

The Caregiver role is in person in Tinley Park, IL, and the agency serves DuPage, Will, and Cook Counties. Pay is $19–$20 per hour. Always Best Care Chicagoland provides non-medical home care to help seniors remain safe and independent at home. The caregiver follows client care plans and assists with daily activities, mobility, personal care, meals, and light housekeeping. The role also helps clients with exercises and shopping, reports unusual incidents, and responds responsibly to emergencies.

What you'll do

• Provide medication reminders
• assist with mobility and personal care
• help clients complete physical therapy and recommended exercises
• shop with or for clients
• prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• report unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator
• respond to emergencies
• follow care plans.
