Senior Linux Administrator

Job overview

The Senior Linux Administrator role is hybrid in Annapolis Junction, MD, with compensation of $160,000 per year. Vetegrity supports Intelligence Community and Department of Defense missions, and this position joins a small Linux team working in a hybrid cloud environment. The role exists to design and maintain Linux solutions across multiple networks and architectures. It includes configuring, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting Linux systems; developing automation scripts; resolving issues with diverse teams; and mentoring junior staff. An active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope polygraph is required.

What you'll do

• Configure, patch, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux systems
• create, debug, and implement automation scripts using Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible
• collaborate with teams to resolve issues
• mentor junior staff
• support Linux instances across multiple networks and architectures.
