Job overview

The Cook/Chef role is onsite in Delano, MN, with stated pay of $17.50–$22.50 per hour. The position serves residents at Legacy of Delano, a Lifespark Senior Living community offering assisted living, independent living, and memory care. The cook prepares and serves meals according to menus, resident diet specifications, and facility procedures. The role supports residents’ daily well-being by maintaining food safety, sanitation, accurate meal service, and appropriate storage and handling of food and supplies.

What you'll do

• Prepare and serve meals according to menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature controls
• clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, floors, dishes, and utensils
• check trays for menu, diet, preference, and accuracy
• store food and supplies properly
• process diet changes and follow established menu procedures.
