Job overview

The Communications Intern role is onsite in Washington, DC, and pays $18–$22 per hour. The intern supports the U.S. Communications team’s media advocacy campaigns through communications drafting, media monitoring, research, and administrative support, while gaining exposure to policy advocacy and media strategies.

  • Draft press releases, op-eds, letters to the editor, and social media content
  • monitor and compile media clips
  • research and contact media contacts
  • contribute ideas in meetings
  • provide administrative and research support.
