The Laboratory Analyst I role is onsite in Boulder, CO, and pays $21–$24 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday–Sunday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Working under close supervision in an accredited commercial laboratory, the analyst performs routine scientific tasks that support client testing needs. The work includes preparing and processing samples, using laboratory instruments, recording data, and maintaining accurate records in support of quality and compliance.

What you'll do

• Prepare and process samples
• prepare standards, solutions, reagents, media, and samples for analysis
• set up and use laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• record observations and data and perform basic interpretation
• maintain procedure integrity and records for peer review
• monitor sample backlog
• maintain logs, notebooks, and equipment records
• perform laboratory administrative tasks and enter data into LIMS
• comply with and promote safety and quality programs.
