The Facilities Maintenance Technician I role is an onsite, full-time position in Jacksonville, FL, with a listed schedule of 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Compensation is $15–$20 per hour. The technician supports Goodwill of North Florida’s Facilities department by maintaining owned and leased buildings and facilities. The role diagnoses building and grounds issues and performs skilled maintenance, repair, and remodeling work across building trades and mechanical systems. This work helps keep facilities and HVAC systems operational and in good condition.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and troubleshoot structural components related to building and grounds systems
• perform painting, carpentry, minor electrical and plumbing, drywall, and other building-trade work
• maintain, repair, or remodel owned and leased buildings and facilities, including HVAC and other mechanical systems
• follow safety standards and established work practices.

Why this role
