Vitamin and Body Care Assistant

The Vitamin and Body Care Assistant role is onsite in Ogden, UT, and pays $17 per hour. The position supports Natural Grocers' vitamin and body care departments and their customer service and operating goals. The assistant helps department managers maintain inventory, merchandising, sales, and profitability while serving customers and supporting store operations. The role also contributes to department readiness through stocking, displays, register coverage, and assistance with personnel tasks.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service
• create inviting, stocked, and shoppable departments
• assist with ordering and inventory accuracy
• support margin, sales, and department profitability
• offer and follow up on special orders
• merchandise shelves, endcaps, and displays
• assist with tagging, facing, rotating, cleaning, markdowns, stocking, and backstock
• help train and monitor department personnel
• conduct active and passive demonstrations
• support opening and closing, sales reporting, cash handling, and cashier closeout
• cover register functions and customer concerns
• maintain customer and employee safety
• answer product questions using company standards
• build product knowledge and use inventory software.

Why this role
