Software Engineer – Robotics Infrastructure is an onsite role in San Francisco, CA, with work at the South Beach/SoMa location five days a week. Compensation is $45–$85 per hour. The engineer builds and operates the production software, data infrastructure, and tools that enable research and operations teams to train, evaluate, and deploy models. By owning systems from initial problem discovery through deployment and iteration, the role helps improve reliability, performance, and maintainability as the company scales.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate production software used by research and operations
• own systems from identifying needs through deployment, monitoring, and iteration
• work with machine-learning researchers, robotics engineers, and robot operators
• debug across services, storage, networks, and hardware
• build logging, monitoring, and diagnostics
• re-architect systems as scale increases
• use AI coding agents for implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation
• routinely improve reliability, performance, and maintainability.
