Assistant Manager — Convenience Store

The Assistant Manager works onsite in Simpsonville, SC. Pay is $14–$16 per hour. The role supports day-to-day operations at a GPM Investments convenience store. The assistant manager helps keep the store staffed, stocked, clean, and customer-focused while supporting the Store Manager. The role also steps in as acting manager when the Store Manager is away and helps lead the team toward store performance goals.

What you'll do

• Support daily store operations
• run the register and assist customers
• coach team members on upselling products and promotions
• help hire, train, and lead staff
• act as manager when the Store Manager is off
• handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising
• maintain the store, restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps
• create team schedules
• handle cash, deposits, and store financials
• provide team feedback and leadership.
