What you'll do

• Gather and update patient information and vital signs
• administer medications or vaccines
• perform diagnostic screenings, specimen collection, and in-office procedures
• place and review orders in the EMR
• relay results or recommendations
• educate patients and families
• document in patient charts
• respond to urgent or acute situations
• coordinate care with specialties, community resources, home health, and hospitals
• maintain confidentiality and required certifications.
