Water Damage Restoration Technician

Job overview

The Water Damage Restoration Technician role is onsite in Brighton, MI, with pay of $20 to $32 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. 1-800 WATER DAMAGE helps homeowners and businesses restore properties and protect health and safety after damage. The technician responds to property damage by removing water, removing materials that cannot be salvaged, disinfecting and drying affected structures, and moving customer belongings and drying equipment. The work may also include mold remediation and smoke- and fire-damaged buildings.

What you'll do

• Move customer contents
• remove non-salvageable materials such as carpeting, padding, and drywall
• carry drying equipment
• remove water, disinfect, and dry affected structures
• perform mold remediation and work on smoke- and fire-damaged buildings. The role includes on-call rotations at varying times, including some weekends and after-hours.
