Education Associate

Job overview

The Education Associate role is hybrid, with two onsite days in Pittsburgh, PA. Compensation is not specified. The associate supports Confluence Theater of Pittsburgh’s Education and Community Engagement team and reports to the Academy Director. The role exists to coordinate administrative, registration, and customer-service processes so education programs operate efficiently and participants have a positive experience. It supports students, families, and Education staff through accurate records, tuition processing, and program administration.

What you'll do

• Coordinate student registration and tuition transactions, including enrollment, invoicing, payments, payment plans, scholarship and financial aid information, and delinquent-account follow-up
• serve as a contact for students and families
• maintain enrollment and tuition reports and student records
• provide correspondence, mailings, supply coordination, and document support
• provide backup office and phone support
• support merchandise promotion, inventory, ordering, sales recording, and financial reporting.

Why this role

An associate degree in education, business administration, arts administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. One year of related experience is preferred. Applicable Pennsylvania clearances for work with children and educational programs must be obtained and maintained.
