Personal Insurance Account Manager

The Personal Insurance Account Manager role is onsite in Chestertown or Schroon Lake, NY, with compensation of $25–$30 per hour. Upstate Agency’s Property and Casualty team serves personal insurance customers as part of the Arrow Financial Corporation family of companies. The role supports customers and agency goals by marketing insurance products, reviewing coverage needs, processing account requests, and resolving or escalating issues. It also coordinates with client advocates and agency support staff to provide timely, informed service and help customers understand their coverage.

What you'll do

• Prepare new-business quotes
• review existing accounts for coverage and carrier placement
• process policy changes and collect premiums when applicable
• report and handle claims
• solicit referrals
• maintain account records and transaction logs
• consult customers about coverage and risk exposures
• coordinate with client advocates and agency support
• provide training and guidance
• participate in community involvement.
