What you'll do

• On non-clinic days, answer clinic calls, create patient charts, schedule outside testing as needed, send referrals, and back up the Staff Assistant. On clinic days, maintain patient flow and exam-room readiness
• take vital signs and perform point-of-care testing
• review patient history
• order X-rays
• prepare injections
• provide wound care
• remove sutures and staples
• assist with splinting and casting and durable medical equipment application
• clean and stock rooms
• clean and pack instruments
• and follow bloodborne pathogen, OSHA, and other safety requirements.

Why this role

CCMA or CNA and CPR certification are preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; one to two years of medical office experience is preferred. Travel to existing or new institute locations may be required.
