Staff Pharmacist

The Staff Pharmacist role is onsite in Sterling, VA, with compensation of $59–$62 per hour. The position supports Mosaic Pharmacy Service’s pharmacy operations and its care management services for medically complex and vulnerable members. Working under the Pharmacist in Charge, the pharmacist helps ensure safe, accurate medication preparation and dispensing, clinical review, and regulatory compliance. The role contributes to patient safety and operational quality through counseling, collaboration with care professionals, and support of pharmacy workflows and staff.

What you'll do

• Review and interpret physician orders
• identify therapeutic incompatibilities and assess allergies
• dispense, package, and label medications in compliance with regulations
• monitor drug therapy for adverse effects, interactions, and allergies
• counsel patients on safe prescription use
• supervise technicians and support personnel
• collaborate with clinical staff and providers
• assist the PIC with daily operations and workflows.
