Catering Supervisor

Job overview

The Catering Supervisor role is onsite in Salt Lake City, UT, with a Monday–Friday full-time schedule; hours may vary. Pay is $23 per hour. Flik Hospitality Group’s foodservice team focuses on hospitality, food, and client service. The supervisor coordinates catering staff and event orders while preparing and serving food at functions under the Catering Director’s supervision. The role helps ensure timely setup and delivery, safe food handling, quality presentation, and responsive service to customers and event leaders.

What you'll do

• Supervise catering department employees and assist with performance appraisals
• determine workload from catering orders
• coordinate setup with function group leaders and address changes
• assemble and deliver food and supplies
• return food, beverages, and equipment
• distribute and collect customer comment cards
• ensure presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures
• maintain sanitation and orderliness
• resolve customer complaints and relay concerns.
