What you'll do

• Program, set up, and operate CNC live-tool lathes and 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling machines
• operate general shop equipment and CNC waterjet
• program machines using CAM software
• review drawings, instructions, and blueprints
• measure parts and select tooling
• plan task sequences
• create fixtures and work-holding
• maintain tooling inventory
• provide material sizes and run times for quotes
• inspect in-process parts
• perform minor machine maintenance and repairs
• maintain a safe, clean workstation
• complete AS9100 documentation
• produce parts with tolerances as low as ±0.0005.

Why this role
