The Registered Dietitian role is onsite in Lowell, MA, at $33 to $43 per hour based on skills and experience. D’Youville Life and Wellness Community provides nonprofit short-term rehabilitation and skilled geriatric care, including care in a 208-bed facility and an 84-bed Special Care Dementia Unit. The dietitian directs residents’ nutritional care and supports their health through assessment, monitoring, and recommendations to clinical and medical staff. The role also educates residents, families, and staff, coordinates therapeutic diets, and contributes to clinical nutrition operations and care planning.

What you'll do

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct residents’ nutritional care
• assess and monitor nutritional status and recommend care to clinical and medical staff
• educate residents, families, and staff on nutrition and diet modification
• coordinate modified-texture and therapeutic diets with the care team
• orient staff, develop policies and procedures, conduct evaluations and in-service education
• round, participate in care conferences, and complete nutritional assessments.

Why this role

Requires active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) registration, a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, and at least two years of clinical nutrition experience in a healthcare setting.
