Inclusion Coordinator — Camp Kaleidoscope

The Inclusion Coordinator role is onsite in Newton, MA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM during an eight-week camp program running June 21–August 20, including staff training. Compensation is $20 per hour. The coordinator supports JCC Greater Boston’s camp inclusion team and its work to help campers with disabilities participate fully in camp. The coordinator supervises and supports Advocate Camp Counselors, helps implement and adjust Individual Camper Plans, and coordinates communication among camp staff and families. The role helps ensure campers are safe, supported, and included in bunk life and camp activities.

What you'll do

• Partner with counselors and camp leadership to build inclusive group dynamics and implement accommodations from camper plans
• support Advocate Counselors in promoting camper strengths, needs, abilities, independence, and participation
• help campers engage in bunk activities including arts, sports, swimming, and special events
• supervise camper safety and well-being during structured and unstructured times
• participate in and support campers during swim times
• communicate with counselors and leadership
• model patience, empathy, and positive behavior
• attend assigned meetings and trainings.
