What you'll do

• Verify benefits and coverage for office visits and surgical procedures
• obtain referrals and authorizations before services
• verify insurance one to two weeks in advance and ensure last-minute services are authorized
• create clinic schedules
• obtain pre-authorizations from insurance carriers
• review denials and follow up with providers for medical-necessity information for appeals
