The Student Services Paraprofessional role is onsite in Grand Junction, CO, on school days from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Compensation is $22–$24 per hour. Ascent Classical Academy supports students through a classical, content-rich education. The paraprofessional provides individualized and small-group academic interventions and support for students with disabilities or other learning needs. The role helps monitor progress, communicate with teachers and families, and support students in accordance with their plans and the school's educational approach.

What you'll do

• Provide individual or small-group interventions and reading support
• monitor and document student progress
• attend team and parent meetings as required
• provide focused accommodations and ongoing supervision for students who need it
• facilitate communication between general and special education teachers
• assist with standardized testing
• build relationships with students, staff, and families.
